123 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when he received the report of the Garda Complaints Board for 2000; when he proposes to publish the report and place it in the Library of Dáil Éireann; and the reason for the delay to date in doing so. [17545/01]

I have not yet received the annual report of the Garda Síochána Complaints Board for 2000. However, I have submitted the 1999 annual report of the board for presentation to the Government. In the circumstances, I expect that it will be laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas and published very shortly.
