Vol. 538 No. 2

Written Answers. - Flood Relief.

Michael Joe Cosgrave

Question:

91 Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that the sale of a property by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 13 is completed without delay; if he will instruct the Northern Area Health Board to produce a copy of the report from their engineer stating that flooding occurred in this area; the reason this matter is raised at this stage of the negotiations when the Baldoyle flood relief scheme is proceeding, thus ensuring that no flooding will occur in the Baldoyle region; the way in which he and the health board plan to compensate this family; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17556/01]

The Eastern Regional Health Authority has informed me that the property in question is being purchased by the Northern Area Health Board for child care services. I have asked the regional chief executive of the ERHA to reply to the Deputy directly on the issues which he has raised.
