Vol. 538 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

John Perry

Question:

95 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will intervene on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo and have him called for treatment in Beaumont Hospital in view of the fact that his condition has deteriorated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17587/01]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services for residents of County Sligo rests with the North Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
