Vol. 538 No. 3

Written Answers. - Health Boards Correspondence.

Enda Kenny

Question:

230 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Health and Children if it is a requirement of all members of health boards who communicate with the public by letter, that their signatures should be clearly legible; the recourse the public have to contacting such officials where signatures are illegible or are merely initialled; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17700/01]

I have no direct responsibility in this area. It would be a matter for each individual health board in the context of its customer service initiatives. However, if the Deputy has a particular case in mind perhaps he would refer it to my Department's communication manager who will pursue the matter with the particular health board concerned.

Question No. 231 answered with Question No. 226.
