Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Question:

232 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will intervene on behalf of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24 in order that this person can obtain an MRI scan at Beaumont Hospital as a matter of priority; if the necessary resources will be made available from his Department to the Eastern Regional Health Authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18002/01]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services for residents of Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Auth ority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this matter and to reply to the Deputy directly.
