150 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if a decision has been made on the appeal by a person (details supplied) in County Sligo; the progress that has been made with the appeal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17754/01]
The person named requested a review of the decision by my Department not to pay premia to him under the 2000 suckler cow premium scheme. This request was received on 18 May 2001 and as soon as a decision is taken the person named will be informed of the outcome.

Payment of £3,326.72 under the 2000 extensification scheme will be made to the person named within the next week.
