77 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Defence if he will give details of the date of birth and names of parents for a person (details supplied) who lived in Kilkenny and served in the Army in 1979 at the request of his wife (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [19257/01]

The military authorities advise that the personal file of the person in question only records the name and address of the individual's mother who was the recorded next of kin in 1958. No other details in relation to his parents are recorded. The available information will be forwarded to the Deputy.
