164 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will expedite an application by a school (details supplied) in Dublin 11 for refurbishment works to accommodate additional teachers which have been allocated to this school and to the infant school in the same campus in order that the works can be carried out over the school summer holiday period; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has recently been in contact with the school authorities in relation to this matter and is currently awaiting a decision from them on proposals for proceeding with the project.

When this response has been received the matter can be progressed further.
