172 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the reason sods are being built up at the side of the road in certain parts of County Mayo where road improvements are being carried out. [19439/01]

I am aware of the concerns being expressed by the Deputy. I have instructed officials from my Department to meet with county council officials to investigate the matter and bring it to an amicable resolution.
