Vol. 540 No. 2

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Joe Higgins

Question:

126 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Finance if he will make available a copy of the title to the lands known as the Heath, Portlaoise, County Laois, whether resting on any deed, grant or other known instrument. [20252/01]

There are no title documents to the lands known as the Heath. The Crown asserted its title to the Heath in 1880 and the Quit Rent Office administered it until 1943 when the Commissioners of Public Works took it over.
