Question:193 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if the Government, when approving the non-payment of salaries to members of local authorities who are also Oireachtas members, will apply the same rules to Ministers' special advisers who are paid by the State and who are also members of local authorities; if not, the reason therefor; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
