Vol. 540 No. 3

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

308 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a holiday visa will issue to a person (details supplied) in Thailand who wishes to holiday here for one month from 11 September 2001 to 11 October 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20805/01]

I understand that the Minister for Foreign Affairs, to whose Department applications for visas are submitted, has no record of having received a visa application for the person in question. If the person wishes to visit Ireland for a holiday, he or she should apply for a visa at the Irish Honorary Consul in Bangkok together with the documents specified on the information note supplied with the visa application form.
