190 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; when this person will receive tuition from a resource teacher; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22585/01]

My Department's inspectorate is currently investigating an application for resource teaching support for the pupil in question. Officials of my Department will be in contact with the school authorities very shortly to advise them of the outcome.
