Before proceeding with the Order of Business, I have the honour to extend a warm welcome to the Secretary General of the Seventh Saeima, Ms Silvia Dreimane, accompanied by members of the administrative committee of the Latvian Parliament who join us in the Distinguished Visitors' Gallery this afternoon. Their visit demonstrates the continuing co- operation and friendship between our two Parliaments and countries. I express the confident hope that this visit will increase that co-operation and friendship and that it will be to our mutual benefit.
