498 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the proposed extension and renovation at Killeshin national school, Carlow; if the stage two process will be completed with minimum delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23029/01]

Architectural planning for the work at Killeshin national school, Carlow, is under way at present. It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence. The school authorities will be informed of developments.
