66 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the timescale, terms of reference and geographical area of the remit of the interdepartmental committee established to carry out a strategic study of Dublin Bay. [23614/01]
A steering group has been established comprising representatives from my Department, the Department of the Environment and Local Government, the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands and the Marine Institute. The group will hold its first meeting in the very near future to consider the terms of reference and methodology for the study which will include the area of Dublin Bay from Howth Head to and including Dún Laoghaire Harbour and Dublin Port. I shall advise the Deputy as soon as I have agreed the terms of reference and methodology and timescale for its completion.
