Vol. 542 No. 1

Written Answers. - Health Spending.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

100 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Health and Children the per capita spend on health and personal social services, excluding capital projects, during the past four years; the percentage which was funded directly by Government, privately and through insurance schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23604/01]

Some of the data required to calculate per capita spend is not yet available from the Central Statistics Office. However, I understand that the information will be published shortly by the CSO and on receipt of this I will reply directly to the Deputy.
