Vol. 543 No. 1

Written Answers. - Ambulance Service.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

50 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to a critical shortage of ambulances in the Dublin area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25503/01]

Ambulance services in the Dublin area are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have therefore asked the regional chief executive officer of the authority to examine the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
