Question:348 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will allocate funding to the Mayo Rape Crisis Centre, Castlebar, County Mayo. [26046/01]
I propose to answer Questions Nos. 333 and 348 together.
The allocation of resources for the provision of services for victims of sexual violence in the Western Health Board region is a matter, in the first instance, for the Western Health Board. This year I have made substantial funding available to the health boards which should result in a considerable improvement to these services.
