Vol. 543 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

John McGuinness

Question:

383 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny has not been called for an angioplasty; the reason for the delay in treatment; if he will expedite the treatment required; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26226/01]

The South-Eastern Health Board is responsible for the provision of hospital services in the case to which the Deputy is referring. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to look into the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
