Vol. 543 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Bernard Allen

Question:

422 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of persons in the Cork University Hospital who have had appointments cancelled due to equipment breakdown in 1999, 2000 and to date in 2001. [26498/01]

The provision of services at Cork University Hospital is the responsibility, in the first instance, of the Southern Health Board. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer at the board to look into the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
