832 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 1013 of 3 October 2001, he will again intervene on the school transport of these persons (details supplied) in view of the medical evidence enclosed; if he will authorise the extension of school transport immediately; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26638/01]

The medical evidence in question has been forwarded to the medical adviser for assessment. The Deputy will be informed of the outcome as soon as this assessment is received.
