Question:169 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the position regarding an application for forestry premiums by a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [26380/01]

I understand that the premium status of the person in question in respect of one of the plantations referred to is currently being re-assessed by the forest service of my Department. Premium payments are up to date in respect of this plantation. Payment of the premium for the other holding referred to will be made to the person in question, at the non-farmer rate, within the next few weeks.
