The question of carriage on any given platform is a matter for the individual broadcaster. I have no statutory function in the matter.
In relation to the introduction of digital terrestrial television, DTT, in Ireland the object of the two processes under way at present is to facilitate the establishment of the DTT platform. Once established that platform will then be a commercial operation and will be subject to market conditions.
