Nora Owen

192 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the cost of displaying a Luas carriage in Merrion Square, Dublin 2. [27425/01]

John V. Farrelly

Question:

195 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the cost to her Department of the photo-call of the Luas tram on 4 November 2001; the cost of the tracks which were laid; the cost of the work involved; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27513/01]

Jim Higgins

Question:

207 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the cost to date of the advertising campaign for the forthcoming delivery of Luas; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [28033/01]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 192, 195 and 207 together.

The promotion and marketing of the Luas project is a day to day matter for CIE and I have no function in the matter. Furthermore, no costs were directly incurred by my Department on the recent display of the trams in Merrion Square.
