228 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he has taken legal advice regarding the way in which partnership arrangements recently introduced relate to excluding older persons; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27771/01]
The provisions for the partnership production of milk will be introduced by way of an amendment to the European Communities (Milk Quota) Regulations, 2000 (S.I. No. 94 of 2000). The Deputy will be aware that statutory instruments are drafted in conjunction with the Office of the Attorney General and the normal procedure is being followed in this case.
