Question:314 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when funding will be made available for a nursing home in Ballinrobe, County Mayo. [27639/01]
Written Answers. - Community Nursing Homes.
In reply to a question from the Deputy earlier this year on the same subject, I indicated that progress on the planning and construction of a community nursing unit in Ballinrobe would be made only if the costs thereof could be accommodated within the indicative capital funding to the Western Health Board under the national development plan. The provision of funding for a community nursing unit in Ballinrobe will be considered in the context of discussions on the Estimates for 2002.
