Written Answers. - National Lottery Funding.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

338 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department has received an application from the Kerry Counselling Centre, Edward Court, Edward Street, Tralee, County Kerry for a grant from national lottery funding; if so, if he will sanction this application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27923/01]

My Department received an application for a grant from the 2001 health and children allocation of national lottery funds on 17 September 2001 from the organisation referred to by the Deputy.

The organisation is seeking funding towards the cost of a therapeutic support group. The application is under consideration for a grant from my Department and the organisation will be informed as soon as a decision has been made.
