Tom Enright

Question:

100 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will carry out a review of the rural policing scheme. [27730/01]

I am informed by the Garda authorities, who are responsible for the detailed allocation of personnel and resources to individual areas, that they are at present conducting a review of the rural policing scheme. The review is being conducted as part of the strategic management initiative process within the Garda Síochána.
