145 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if statistics have been compiled by the Garda of persons who may have been forced to leave this country under threat of death or injury by paramilitary organisations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27648/01]

The statistics requested by the Deputy are not currently available. The Garda Síochána is, however, continuing to review the extent of the available information, and I will let the Deputy have any details which come to hand.
