137 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science if a document will be released at an early date in respect of a school (details supplied) in County Cork. [28448/01]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that I have made arrangements to forward the payment due to the school in question.

Róisín Shortall

Question:

138 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of applications for major capital works for primary schools and secondary schools which are pending in his Department; the level of capital funding which will be available to him to meet this programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28412/01]

Over 800 major school building projects are currently in architectural planning. Decisions relating to the rate of progress to construction of projects in 2002 will be taken in the light of allocations to be made for school building purposes at the conclusion of the forthcoming budgetary process.
