Trevor Sargent

Question:

153 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the extent to which he is involved in the Cabinet committee dealing with Sellafield. [29163/01]

The Cabinet sub-committee was established recently to finalise the extensive legal work already undertaken in relation to Sellafield and to co-ordinate the legal actions being taken in that regard. The committee has had one meeting. Due to my attendance at the UN Security Council in New York at that time, I was represented at the meeting at official level.
