159 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the amount of capital expenditure which was spent by his Department since July 1997 to 1 November 2001; the percentage of this which was spent in County Wicklow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29274/01]
Capital expenditure by the Department of Foreign Affairs in the period July 1997 to 1 November 2001 amounted to IR£7,609,000. While there was no specific capital allocation for Wicklow a sum of IR£460,000 was spent on the running costs of the Glencree Reconciliation Centre, County Wicklow, including some refurbishment of the centre during the same period.
