Capital funding provided over the period by my Department, including that relating to the national development plan from the year 2000 onwards, has been administered on the basis of the health board structure for the country. My Department does not collate, as a matter of rou tine, details of all capital expenditure undertaken by health boards on a county level. Responsibility for this regarding County Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive of the ERHA to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
