Written Answers. - Travel Pass Scheme.
The travel pass scheme for the Civil Service to which the Deputy refers will underpin Government policy on the wider use of public transport. The scheme has recently been announced in my Department and will come into operation on 1 January 2002. To date, 250 staff in my Department have expressed interest in participating in the scheme.
