Written Answers. - Travel Pass Scheme.
The travel pass scheme, which is covered by Department of Finance Circular 50/2001, is available to all civil servants with effect from 1 January 2002. Details of the scheme were circulated to all staff in my Department on Thursday, 15 November 2001. To date 32 members of staff have applied for the scheme.
I welcome the introduction of this scheme and my Department is making arrangements to facilitate staff with deduction from salary facilities.
