400 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide additional resources for special schools such as the St. John of God Centre, Islandbridge, Dublin 8; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30562/01]
I would be anxious to ensure that adequate resources are made available to all special schools, including the school mentioned by the Deputy.
Officials of my Department are in ongoing contact with representatives of the school in question with a view to further enhancing the quality of the special education services provided at the school. Any additional resource needs identified through these contacts will be fully addressed by my Department.
