417 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will approve an application by Clare County Council VEC for a new building at St. Michael's, Kilmihil, County Clare; if he will allow the committee to purchase the site required in 2002; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that officials in the building unit of my Department recently visited the school concerned to inspect the building, existing site and proposed additional lands. They are currently examining the feasibility study which was carried out in relation to this school. No decision can be made, in regard to a new building or the purchase of a site, until this examination has been completed.
