Vol. 545 No. 4

Written Answers. - Salmon Fishing Licences.

Michael Bell

Question:

108 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the names and addresses of all licence holders for drift net fishing located at Dunmore East, County Waterford, who fish on a full-time basis or a part-time basis; the number of salmon returned on each licence for the past five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30452/01]

Under the Fisheries Acts the issue of salmon fishing licences is the responsibility of the regional fisheries boards. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Southern Regional Fisheries Board to provide the Deputy with the information sought.
