Vol. 545 No. 5

Written Answers. - School Transport.

Paul McGrath

Question:

177 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason school transport has not been provided for a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this child has not attended school for quite some time because of the lack of school transport; if he will have the matter expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31038/01]

I understand that my officials are currently dealing with the matter referred to by the Deputy. Every effort will be made to expedite the matter and contact will then be made with the parents of the pupil in question.
