105 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the reason a payment (details supplied) was not referred to in the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 68 of 4 October 2001 concerning payment of consultants to his Department; and the purpose of payment. [31141/01]
I regret that details of the consultancy in question were omitted from the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 68 of 4 October 2001 through an oversight.
The company concerned was engaged in January 1999 to carry out an investigation into possible irregularities in the administration of my Department's afforestation grant and premium schemes. Further details on this matter are given in my reply to Questions No. 110 to 113, inclusive, of 4 December 2001
