Question:

101 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate concerns expressed among doctors in the North-Eastern Health Board region regarding the level of ambulance cover in parts of the region. [31187/01]

Responsibility for the provision of ambulance services for the north eastern region rests with the North-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
