Vol. 546 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Jack Wall

Question:

104 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will receive an appointment at Tallaght Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31190/01]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.

Liam Aylward

Question:

105 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Health and Children if an early admission to Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital can be arranged for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [31227/01]

The provision of services for people living in County Kilkenny is the statutory responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive at the board to look into the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
