Vol. 546 No. 1

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

121 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason despite numerous rep resentations and requests, orthodontic treatment has not been given to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31333/01]

Responsibility for the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in County Kildare rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
