Vol. 546 No. 1

Written Answers. - School Placement.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

193 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science the action he intends to take in relation to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [31303/01]

My Department is not aware of difficulties currently being experienced with regard to educational provision for the pupil referred to by the Deputy. My Department was aware of difficulties regarding school placement last year. However, the pupil in question was subsequently re-instated in his former school. Officials of my Department are currently making enquiries to ascertain the present circumstances of this case and I can assure the Deputy that every effort will be made to find a suitable placement for the pupil as soon as possible.
