45 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the steps being taken to address the deficiencies in the emergency services identified in the report commissioned by his Department, Strategic Review of Fire Safety and Services in Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I expect to receive the final report of the consultants engaged to assist in the Review of Fire Safety and Fire Services in Ireland very shortly. I am not in a position to comment until I receive and examine their final report.
