As I informed the Deputy in reply to Parliamentary Question No. 134 of 1 March 2001, my Department has no plans at present to acquire the land in question.

An application has been received for capital funding in respect of a proposed project at Fews national school, County Waterford. My Department will be in contact with the school authorities as soon as possible on this issue.
