384 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress to date made by his Department in the provision of a new school at Curraghmore, Mullingar, County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31542/01]
An application has been received for capital funding in respect of a proposed project at Curraghmore national school, Mullingar, County Westmeath. Decisions on the appointment of design teams in respect of individual projects will be taken in the light of the recent allocation for primary school buildings in last week's budget and my Department will be in contact with the school authorities as soon as possible.
