385 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will allow a submission from a school (details supplied) in Dublin 9 for a lift and a new science laboratory go to the tender stage; if a hold has been put on all projects such as this having regard to the Estimates; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department recently received a design team procedures stage 5 submission (i.e. tender documents) for the proposed science laboratory and lift installation at the school to which the Deputy refers. Staff in the building unit are currently examining this submission and a response will issue to the school shortly.
