37 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the position regarding the national heritage plan, which she informed Dáil Éireann on 8 November 2001 would go to Government prior to the end of November 2001; if she still intends to publish the plan before the end of 2001; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can assure the Deputy that it is my intention to seek Government approval for the national heritage plan in the very near future. When Government approval for the plan has been obtained, it will be published at the earliest possible opportunity.
